After Edmund
Times Have Changed

Campus Correspondent Review By Billy Sparks
The title behind the Grammy-nominated After Edmund’s latest EP Times Have Changed is especially telling considering the foursome’s impressive musical evolution since last year’s DVD/EP set Spaceships & Submarines. Sure, the group’s introspective songwriting and innovative musical experimentation remains in tact, though thanks to newly explored terrain in the dance-laden pop/alternative rock direction, the half dozen tracks contained therein are nothing short of a synth-saturated throwdown.
“Dance Like Your From the Future” literally glows like a pristine vision of outer space, “Sunshine” charges with an unshakable electronica groove, while the piano-laden title track is a mid-tempo reflection of the group’s remarkable journey thus far, ascending from underground Atlanta favorites to critically acclaimed national touring attractions that have even logged time on Linkin Park’s Projekt Revolution.
