Deborah's Picks - Reviewed by Deborah Singer
Unlike our editor, Deborah Singer has been writing about rock-n-roll for only three years, but she knows what she likes and wants people to know! She writes for HearSay and DJs for WTBU in Boston, MA. Her very first concert was Raffi, which got her hooked on concerts at an early age. Her most recent show was Dan Auerbach, which she described as awesome! |
Pavement - Quarantine The Past: The Best Of Pavement
The great indie band from the 90’s is finally back! They are going on a reunion tour and they just released this new album; a collection of their most popular songs, all of them remastered. It is absolutely wonderful.

Thom Yorke - The Eraser
Thom Yorke’s solo album. It was released back in 2006, but with his recent solo tour, I have been reminded how amazing it is.

Dawes - North Hills
A folk band with a slight country twang. If you like The Avett Brothers, you will enjoy this band.
The Ruby Suns - Fight Softly
Techno experimental indie rock. Pretty much a mix between Beach House and Animal Collective.
The Shout Out Louds - Work
The most recent release from The Shout Out Louds, and it's seriously good. It's pretty mellow, but has a few upbeat songs.
