Campus Correspondent Review By Andy Argyrakis,
Campus Correspondents coordinator

With writing, performance, or production credits for "Friends," "CSI Miami," "General Hospital," David Lee Roth and Brian Wilson, the members of Jet Velvet clearly have an ear for hits and musicianship. Comprised of Paul Dexter and Matt Bissonette, the Orange County duo's self-titled debut is loaded with intelligently crafted, fun-in-the-sun ditties.

Yet for every contagious chord and catchy harmony, there's plenty of lyrical meat including the pain of a fractured relationship, the healing from mending fences, and comical reflections of growing up in the 1970s. Expect tunes like "Call Me Sir," "Somebody to Love Me" and “MIA” to evoke Ben Folds, Owl City and the Beach Boys in a cohesive package.
